Once you determine the Merit Badge you would like to work on - your first step should be to contact a Uniformed Leader (Mr. Candell, Mr. Moritz, etc) and get a signed Merit Badge Card.
Once you have this card, you may contact the Merit Badge Counselor for the Merit Badge you wish to work on. A full list of the current Troop 139 Merit Badge Counselors can be found on the "Misc Forms" page of this website.
The Counselor will arrange a time and place to meet you - to discuss the requirements and offer direction where necesary.
Once the Counselor is satisfied you have completed all the requirements,
They will sign your Card.
The counselor will keep 1/3 of the card, giving you the other 2/3's. Both these pieces must be turned in to Mr Candell. Once he signs the Merit Badge Card, he will return 1/3 of the card to you !
